The Red Lion, Betchworth

Visited today for a Sunday roast and it was packed - over the 2 hours we spent at our table every other table was occupied at some point by people eating, some even having to sit outside to eat. Not surprising as the food was excellent, very tasty pork and perfectly cooked and well complementing arrangement of vegetables, roasts etc.

Beer was also very good - tried a Doom Bar and Adnams Bitter and both were tasty and in good condition. Friendly and efficient service and we didn't mind the slight wait for the food as it was so busy.

Definitely one of the better run pubs I've been to in the area, and seemingly has a good reputation for food as it was so busy.
