The King and Keys, Fleet Street

popped in the other day with a friend for a quick drink and food. this pub is great!
firstly its a pub which isn't intimidating for women, something of a rarity in the city esp if you cant be arsed with the likes of cornry and barrow etc) the beers on tap impressive(as landlords last post), and the menu is great, we couldn't decide what to have, this is what pub food should be like must give special mention of fact vegetarians well catered for.
bar staff were bang on.

as someone in the trade, i tend to be the first to knock pubs but really have only praise for the king & keys

The Shepherds Tavern, Mayfair

was in here a couple of weeks ago, won't be back, serious attitude from manager type girl who doesn't seem to realise when a customer asks for a pint that is exactly what is meant. food was pretty poor as well considering the price. there are much better places to go nearby
