The Star, Waldron

Our walking group have been visiting Sussex pubs every Thursday and Sunday for about 8 years. This pub stands head and shoulders over all the others as being the most unwelcoming, unfriendly and unhelpful. Even though we visited it after an 11 mile walk on THE hottest day of the year (32deg) some of our group wouldn't even drink in there let alone eat.
We simply can't understand why anyone would want to go in here a second time. Perhaps the landlady is related to Basil Fawlty?
