THE Distillers, Hammersmith

For the most part, the staff at this well situated boozer were friendly, attentive and helpful, but on the night I attended, I was horrified to discover that the one rude member of staff, who spoiled my whole experience was actually the landlord. I don't like to pull a place to pieces, and generally, I found the DIstiller's to be a welcoming pub, with cheap deals on food and drink, and a pleasant enough atmosphere, with a pool table, fruit machine and low level music, but for the sake of the manager, I would have visited again, but his arrogance, demeanour and all round attitude has ensured that I won't be visiting again, which is unfortunate, as everything else was fine...
