The Pigs Nose, East Prawle

Visited this little gem after a gap of 4 years. Thankfully nothing changed un-like alot of other pubs. No pretentions, just a proper pub with real people behind the bar and the clientelle. Defo worth a visit and the tripm to get there!

The Beerhouse, Bury St Edmunds

Just made another visit to the Beerhouse - still call Ipswich Arms on this site! - what a choice of ever changing real ales (7). Not too busy last night, but could become v popular. Have found the pub on twitter @burybeerhouse. The landlord knows his beers and as you can see from the walls - over 350 beers sered since they opened in July 2010. Also Suffolk CAMRA pub of the month, but don't this put you off ! (LOL)

The Old Cannon Brewery, Bury St Edmunds

Went in again today (after a break) - owners looking for a tenant to run. Prices gone up and own beers (Best and Gunners Daughter) but 4 guests including Adnamas Bitter available. Every table had a number on and The Times eat for a fiver campaign now available. I do not know what has happended to the drinkers who used to frequent the place - With a number of new watering holes, good beer and little food, makes choice a lot easier on wherre to try numerous ales and bitters.
I shall look out for a change to the management and post when the time is right.
