The Kings Head, Chingford

If there was a competition for the slowest pub bar staff in Britain then I'd certainly stick a few quid on the Kings Head to win.

More of a restaurant these days, clinging onto the ideal that it is still a pub.

The Royal Oak, Chingford

Very very disappointed, with what McMullens have done to this pub, following the recent refurbishment.

Now its nothing more than a sterile restaurant inside the shell of a pub. If you like Beefeater's, Brewers Fayre etc. type establishments with lack of character and low standard cheap food then its fine, however if you're looking for a pub then search elsewhere.
