The Dog and Bell, Deptford

I came across this pub during a 'Charles Booth' walk through the streets of Deptford. You could see how many pubs there had been in Deptford High Street, now sadly gone, so to find the Dog and Bell was a very pleasant surprise. We only had time for a quick one, an excellent pint of Brockley Golden, but I vow to return to sample more of the superb range of beers they had on. I will not forget the face of a French guy on the walk who looked quizically at teh Dark Star 'Creme Brulee' pump clip - so funny. Anyway, if you're in Deptford, make for the Dog and Bell, you won't be disappointed.

Unicorn Inn, Canterbury

Was in on Friday (12/10/12) and sampled the Gadds (Ramsgate Brewey) Green Hop Ale, followed by Crouch Vale's Yakima Gold, superb. What a great range of beers (as ever).
