always seems pretty quiet unless they have a function on, even if its a friday night.

Nice on a friday or sat to meet up for chat when everywhere else is going nuts. Prices quite reasonable considering this. Friendly bar staff and even the chap on the door seems a nice bloke.

Good place to meet with pals, but not so great if you want to see and been seen.

The Hand and Raquet, Wimbledon

Nice friendly place to meet up especially during the week when its not so busy. Efficient bar staff mean wait isn't too bad even on weekend.
