Four Horseshoes, Thornham Magna

Thankfully now changed hands, this pub has a Great atmosphere and loads of charicter, Huge fire place lots of beams and thatched roof. The beers are kept well but are limited as its a Greene King house. Staff are friendly and helpfull, and the food is good.

The Cherry Tree, Yaxley

A real community pub with a shop and post office off to one side. Its pleasant enough and they do keep their ale well. They also have very good beer festivals through the year with some cracking ales.

The Black Horse, Thorndon

I lived in Thorndon for a while, The Black horse doe do good food and has a pleasant atmosphere all though its decor and furniture could do with updating.
I gave it a 6 mainly because its not really a drinkers pub, They tend to cater for eaters.
