Returned to the hungry horse after two years to find it had changed considerably in a bad way.

Here are out reasons for the above comment:-

- Unclean tables
- Stickly menus
- unlean cutlery
- Constance presence of unsupervised children running and screaming throughout our meal.
- Individual TV screens showing football at the end of every table, this might appeal to some but we found this distracting.
- Ladies toilets comprised three cubicles two of which were out of order, soap dispenser had fallen off the wall, no hot water, no toilet paper in the only working cubicle.
- All of the above could have been forgiven if the food was good quality and good value. We ordered the two roast dinners and what we were given were two plates with a spoonful of sproats and peas, one and half roast tats, a rubbery piece of microwaved chicken breast and a yorkshire. Presented swimming in a vat of greasy gravy. It worse roast meal I have ever had.

Suffice to say we skipped desert and more drinks and left hungry as a horse.
