The Alwyne Castle, Islington

Arrived at the Alwyne on a sunny summer's evening for a couple of drinks and some food, but left vowing never to eat here again. Admittedly the beer garden was busy that night, but it took well over an hour for four simple burgers to arrive, and almost 90 minutes for a plate of potato wedges. 90 minutes?! What's more, the only two people from our group to eat prawns here both had food poisoning the next day... Coincidence? Make up your own mind.
As somewhere to come for a drink, the Alwyne is fine, but please take my advice and never, ever eat here.
