very clean pleasant pub, friendly staff with a bonus of a indian restuant upstairs where you can take your beer or bring food down to pub. Love the place. cheers

The Bold Arms, Churchtown

Great pub fantastic location full of charm. I wish the landlord would show some effort. Went in on a friday night it was crowded at the bar with men in filthy workwear one man still covered in paint even in his hair the bar was surrounded by them mud everywhere. I would suggest they are respectfully asked to drink in the vaults. This pub has that facility and should use it.Couples arriving for a meal and night out were leaving and I dont blame them.

The Hesketh Arms, Southport

Called in for a pint what a mistake waited at the bar for some three and a half minutes whilst a barman chatted to another customer knowing I was the only other person waiting to be served. I stood there like a lemon, I felt I was intruding I only wanted to buy drinks for myself and guests who had come to southport for the airshow on sat. So embarassed will not be returning.
