Broomfield Tavern, Coventry

This is a real pub. No TV or machines. A basic pub where conversation rules. GBG 2014. Ever changing real ales and ciders. Bass is on most of the time. Sunday Lunches. Live music sessions.
Although near the station and rugby ground it is tucked away in a quite corner of coventry. Like many pubs it has been struggling but the staff are trying hard to pull it around
It is the sort of pub I like. It just needs more custom. So pay it a visit.

Yew Tree Inn, Preston-on-Wye

Real ale straight from the cask, real cider friendly folk, good food. One of the best pubs in England. I like it!
