PBI sounds like someone i have barred and is therefore a trifle bitter!
PBI's posting is so different to the other recent posts - so, if i haven't bareed them - perhaps they were mistaken over the pubs name and location.
Strangley, we have increased the 'at-any-one-time' head count in the pub by a hundred over the past year. Obviously these extra people don't share PBI's views.

This is a fantastic pub; it has Olde World charm and good staff. Just mind your head as you walk around if you are over 5' 8" tall!
The customers however are strange - almost weird. Fights are not uncommon on the beautiful green outside. Why does such a beautiful village has such a large residency of nutters? Perhaps some interbreeding occurred with some farm animals and their keepers.
Visits from Hells Angels are not uncommon. Likewise visits from the police are also uncommon.
Not a place to visit on weekend evenings.
