The Windmill, Mayfair
A splendidly unpretentious pub. If you like pies (which I do) then this place is the best pub or restaurant to go to in London.
Ales on tap are fine (Youngs / Charles Wells standard) but also try bottled beers - The Double Chocolate stout goes very well with steak based pies.
Was quiet when went, but pub had just opened.
Recommended.
