The Leadburn Inn, Leadburn

This place is well and truly open: fully rebuilt, refurbished and full of life.

Large family oriented pub / restaurant - large and well designed children's play area. Food is plentiful, of good quality and value. Beer on tap included Belhaven Best and Deuchars IPA.

A pleasant place to visit, particularly on rainy weekend afternoons if children are bored and need to let off steam, and I need a pint and a bite to eat.

The Winton Arms, Pencaitland

Beer of dubious quality and no use having a chat in here as you won't be able to hear yourselves think above the din created by the telly turned up to full volume, invariably showing football or rugby. Pretty rubbish, all in all.
