Smithy's Wine Bar, Kings Cross

Grimy place and the food is not what is used to be. Does anyone remember the open grill at the bar in the spit & sawdust days? Smithy's is just not what it used to be.

6 St Chad's Place, Kings Cross

Lunchtime food is delicious and unlike anything else you can get in the area - imaginative dishes and always fresh. If you want a greasy burger/chips there are plenty of other places to go in King's X.

Evenings are more geared up for drinking so can't say I've tried the tapas. Great DJ's and a really friendly atmosphere. Still the best place in King's Cross.
