The Stanhope Arms, Kensington

Occasional visitor here. A busy London pub. Very good, reasonably priced food.
Staff are well trained with a variety of accents. The manager has won the monthly award several times and deserves it, he is probably closer to a restauranter than a publican. Beer usually very good, with a wide selection,but at London prices.

The Pickerel Inn, Stowmarket

Am a regular here. Currently run by Jaz and Elton who have been there probably 5 years. Both they and their staff give a friendly welcome.Is 2 minutes from Stowmarket Station with a good selection of real ales including Adnams. Live music at week-ends, car park with outside seating plus a lively team scene from football to crib.
