The Queens Head, Congleton
Comments by Jimbo are noted. However a full refurbishment commenced a couple of weeks after his visit. The pub is now clean and bright, while still retaining it's charm and individuality. The loos are spotless and have no "pong". There are 7 real ales on, and a good selection of lagers. The home-cooked food is out of this world! The pub is aparantly known to regulars as Fawlty Towers due to the zany landlord Tony's uncanny resemblence to John Cleese! Well worth more than a passing visit.
