The Prince of Wales, Weybridge

Sorry to say we were not all that impressed with this pub, I found it on the internet to take my 94 year old Mother out on her birthday with some of my family. The interior was fine and felt quite homely and the service on the whole was good apart from a very stayed lady who had a rather intransigent attidude,especially when we asked for some gravy for a chicken dish that looked very dry,"we only have gravy for the roasts" she said. My first course was prawns and advocado,it was a little tired looking as if it had been hanging around for some time,my roast lamb was fine,my sister had ordered beef and it was both thick and tough. It was disapointing but it sewrved my purpose of getting my old mother and to eat and she enjoyed it and did not notice that the rest of us were not having such a good time.

The Walnut Tree, Fawley

I am trying to track down the Landlord of the Walnut Tree as he is an old friend, tried ringing the number and his mobile too but both are not recognised now. So if anyone knows how I can reach Sean who was there the last time I visited please contact me.
