The Plough, Norwood Green

Finally got to try the food this weekend and it lived up to it's reputation. Delicious. Rumour has it that the landlord is selling up now. What a shame. Lets hope that the food continues to be just as good under the new ownership, but it'll be a challenge.

The Plough, Norwood Green

Being new to the area I went to this pub last week and found the atmosphere very welcoming. The impression you get is that everyone knows each other. A proper local pub. The bitters were a bit limited, but the pint of pride that I had was supurb and served by a very lovelly and thoughtful bar maid called Tanzi who made me feel right at home. I didn"t get to try the food, but was told that it's all prepared and cooked on the premiesis. Apparently the burgers are very popular. Well worth a visit.
