The White Horse, Hampstead Heath

Thai food here is OK. Sunday roasts look good, but have never tried them. Don't know what people mean by this being a boring pub, it seems pretty good to me. A couple of real ales on that aren't too bad at all. Australian Land Lady / Bar Manger very friendly and happy to put rugby on the screens if no "big" soccer games on. A quick pint and chicken satay - perfect.

The King and Queen, Fitzrovia

Friendly staff. Busy most evenings with local media types and residents. Ideal place to watch rugby - Landlord a big supporter. Tribute and Guinness both good. Sandwiches tasty and reasonable.
