The Pig and Whistle, Earlsfield
Surely some entrepreneur out there will soon realise that there is a huge market for a decent boozer in this area? i.e not The Slaughtered Lamb from American Werewolf. If Youngs can't manage it, someone will. Arthur Road, near the tube, would be the best place.
In the meantime, us Wimbledon Park locals are forced to patronise the P&W as is, with Mr Pyjama Man as Landlord and the cast of the Thriller video as fellow punters. Somebody please do something. Maybe we should march on Youngs like the Chartists and see if we can get it changed? Decent toilets might be a start.
