Great atmosphere even if the bands are a bit loud you cant hear yourself speak!
Great Bouncers, great bar staff and a good all round night out. not as much fun as the mainstream bars though

Yates's, Colchester

Much better looking since the refurb but still loads of trouble in here and the bouncers are as crap as ever. Especially the tall darker skinned one, gota be the rudest bouncer in town.
Its what a yates is, better than a wetherspoons but not quite up to the standards of an edwards. It is full of chavs but can be a good night out so long as you dont mind the trouble!

Not the bar it used to be, and its mainly because of the sheeiittee DJ there on tuesdays and saturdays. He plays the same sets week after week and never plays what you ask him!
I've been livin down here for 4 years now and this used to be the place to be but its in need of a brighten up big style. Bouncers still the best in town unlike that lot down the road in yates! Bar staff friendly but sometimes takes ages to get served.
GET RID OF THE DJ!!!!!
