Someone who appreciates a quiet pint of ale or cider in well kept premises. Not too much to ask.
I will admit to being intolerant of pub staff that are not courteous and welcoming, after all, who pays their wages?? I am not there for there pleasure and I am certainly NOT interested in bullying landlords/landladies. They are there for US!!
I do not appreciate music that is too loud when I am with friends. I hate mobile phone use and loud chav types and don't particularly like being near lager drinking swearing youngsters speaking in fake jamaican accents.

The Wheatsheaf, Cuckfield
Whilst staying with friends I decided to call in. A small friendly crowd were gathered around the bar for the Tuesday quiz night. I took a short while to decide which ale to have and was hurried a little by the barmaid who appeared a little impatient. Went for the Hobgoblin, a good choice as it was superb.
Ordered steak and kidney pudding which was very nice and plenty of it. Perhaps I shouldn't have accompanied it with the 3 pints of Hobgoblin.
When nature called I was very impressed with the very clean toilets. Think I will call again when in the area. Nice one.
