The Mill at Elstead, Elstead

A beautiful pub which is cosy and welcoming in the winter and beautiful and peaceful in the summer. When here in the winter it almost feels like your in a small cottage where you'd happily curl up on the sofa with a bowl of their leek and potato soup and just sink into a world of your own where as in the summer (if your lucky to get one of the tables outside) you can sit on either the decking or the green and watch as the ducks swim buy whilst enjoying a nice cold shandy with your friends. The only thing i would recommend is that if your a fussy eater don't eat at this pub as the menu isn't at all plain and is very traditional with a twist so plain eaters will have difficulty to choose something. The times when i have eaten here i cant fault or complain about always well present and delicious....a truely gorgeous english pub.

The Prince Arthur, Fleet

My local at the weekend always understaffed n the workers seem to be weighed down with trying to serve a huge pissed crowd and clearing the tables. The drinks are cheap which i love and they serve Reef which is an all time fave for me, however i still cant get over the day i was id'd not only do i drink there every weekend but i was buying a pint of pepsi the girl who id'd me was rude about it saying i looked very young and shouldn't be promoting myself to look 15 when i was 20...i say fair play to me for looking younger but apart from her...a good fri/sat night pre-club pub!
