This used to be a good pub, then they ripped out the carpet and fishtank, overlit it, and crammed in as many tables as they could. No longer a pub, now a mediocre bar. One to avoid.

Ye Old Mitre, Holborn
One of the finest pubs in London. Excellent beer. Cheese and ham toasties and scotch eggs are top notch. Manager is very friendly in a slightly aggressive Scottish way. This pub is a gem.
