The Crown and Sceptre, Shepherds Bush

I forgot to mention that there's quite a selection of traditional beers. I just noted the previous comments about the staff and would like to assure all that care that on the many occasions that i have frequented the bar they have been very nice, friendly and helpful.

The Crown and Sceptre, Shepherds Bush

This is my local and for that reason alone a good reason to go. The pub itself isn't much to speak of but the atmosphere and staff make it a very nice place to while away an evening (and the artwork and table football are worth a look too)! The pup quiz on Monday could be less mechanical and have less questions about coronation street but is still fun (particularly when you have to tell the quiz master how to pronounce 'Derbyshire' and 'debut')!!! i am yet to venture to the karaoke on fridays but i'm sure its great as the locals are a real laugh. I'm even planning on celebrating my birthday there and if that isn't praise i dont know what is (look out for me and my invisible friends sitting in the corner in a couple of weeks)!
