St Margarets Tavern, St Margarets

Without doubt the worst pub in St Margarets. It lacks the friendliness and warmth of The Turks Head or The Crown. This was highlighted on my last visit where I waited at the bar for 5 mins while the barmaid served the customer next to me and then just walked off without acknowledging me. 3 mins later another barmaid went behind the bar and I asked if I could order a drink from her, she atleast acknowledged my existence and said "yep give me 2 mins". She returned and completely ignored me. I asked if I should serve myself (jokingly) and she simply retorted that if I wanted serving I should reposition myself further down the bar where one of her colleagues might serve me. After now waiting 10 mins I replied that maybe I should reposition myself in another pub and left. I went to The Turks Head up the road and was welcomed with a smile and attentive service on arrival.
