The Lord Northbrook, Lee

Hi, yes we have gone through something a little more than a lick of paint!

We are really pleased with the Lord Northbrook and aim is a simple one. To create a pub (yes pub not wine bar!!) which the local community can be proud of and feel welcomed. Whether you are having a beer or glass of wine with friends after work or a meal with the family.

We will be introducing a quiz night to bring the community together and we have plans to return the garden back to a great space for our customers.

We really appreciate those who have taken time to comment, we are new and we may not get it right every time but if that is the case please don't hesitate to say so when you are in and we can rectify it. And if we do get it right then well, please feel free to tell everybody!!

The Punch Tavern, Fleet Street

I am amazed at what I have read here. I had lunch there today, the staff could not have been any friendly, the food was great English fodder, (Ham Egg and Chips, Beer Battered Haddock etc) and the beer was well kept Hook Norton or Summer Lightning.

It was busy throughout lunch and I will definitely be back.

And no, I don't know or related, to the owners, just could not believe the stuff I have read about a decent pub with hardworking staff and great food.

The St George and Dragon, Wargrave

Great location and reasonable food. But sadly let down by staff who have either been badly trained or employed for aesthetics not abilities.
