Outstanding cask mark certified pub. Friendly, busy and reasonable prices Beer (Pride & Broadside) in excellent condition. This is the standard upon which other pubs must bring themselves up to. Will be back

The Master Brewer Hotel, Hillingdon

This place closes down on the 12th January 2007. Tesco do not have (YET!) the approval, but the Hotel is gone in any event. I was never a fan of it, or it's longstanding miserable staff, BUT the beer was excellent and the Red Lion & prince of Wales in Hillingdon would do good to note that. Shame really. Fullers flagship place in the late 60's.

Moon On The Square, Basildon

Thoroughly disgusting pub full of the art ectypal "Essex" types we were always told about into in Guildford. Market Traders were filthy in both their attire and mouths. An absolute place you should never, ever go to. My girlfriend got a mouthful of abuse when she visited the ladies.
FILTH & SCUM of the earth are the only non entities that frequent this DISGUSTING Inn.
Not ever going to visit my Gran again!
