The Plough, Norwood Green

I've lived around west London for most of my life now and sampled many a beer in my time. I used to frequent the Fox in Hanwell alot and was recommended this pub by a friend.

I have to say that the beer served at the Plough pub in Norwood Green is amongst the finest I have tasted in quite a while.

I also noticed that they have even received an award for their beer.
The food is of excellent standard too. I don't know if they have an italian chef, but I heard that he makes home made ravioli!

The garden is vast and the patio area is shaded by horse chestnut trees, although none of us got much of a chance to enjoy it this year it has great bar-b-que potential.

I've also been told that the infamous Dick Whittington used to tie up his horse near by!

The pub is not far from Osterly park and is a great place to settle down in after a leisurely stroll.

I found everyone their to be perfectly pleasant. It gives the impression off being a locals pub, but with a warm and open atmosphere.

I suppose the only down side is that they do not seem have a heated outdoor area for smokers, but seeing as I have given up this is not a problem for me.

I can highly recommend it!
