The Wheatsheaf, Chelmsford

Popped in for a quick pint recently whilst in the area. Nice clean pub, good beer, friendly staff and clientele. Top marks! Will definitely use it again when in Chelmsford

The Haven Arms, Ealing

Excellent pub! Well worth a short walk up from the station.

Not open some lunchtimes (?) but beer/food/service all excellent when they are serving.

Wish there were more pubs like this around

The Malt Shovel Inn, Gaydon

Excellent pub. I was a stranger to this area, but certainly the welcome was warm enough.
Superb pint of Marston's Pedigree followed by an equally good Abbott Ale. Heaven.
Not bad food either, though just had a sandwich.
I'd definitely recommend a visit.
