The Odd Wheel, Wembury

The pub reopened early in August 2010 and is run by the woman who also runs the Elburton Hotel in nearby Elburton. I don't live in the area so haven't been for some time but I can tell you that the locals seemed thrilled that their pub had reopened.

The focus is more on food than it was before and I had two really good meals here during my week on holiday at a nearby farm. However although the selection of beers is smaller than previously the quality of the ones on sale was good. It was nice that they had a beer on from the local Summerskills brewery which was lovely.

The Bridge, Topsham

The Bridge was featured in the first episode of the recent Oz and Hugh when they sat by the River Clyst.

It's been a while since I've been here and I desperately want to go back.

Bridge Barn, Woking

This is the nearest pub to where I live. It's got a fantastic location by the canal with a sizeable garden area. But I never got there these days - do you need to know more?
