The White Hart, Billericay

Doesn't seem too popular, judging by the lack of recent reviews on here.
Didn't seem too popular at lunchtime today, when there were only four punters in. (The Red Lion across the street was busy.)
Looked a clean and tidy pub.
The dartboard's gone, though they do have a clock shaped like a dartboard above the bar. I thought about lobbing a set of arrers at it, but tingsten darts are expensive and get getting barred from a pub for a stunt performed in front of an audience of four isn't really worth it.

The Red Lion, Billericay

Nipped in here prior to watching a football match at Billericay Town this afternoon. Only downing a couple of quick Strongbows - it was a warm afternoon. Astonished at how busy it was and at how many people were eating. Service was pretty swift. The food going past me smelled good and looked tasty. Also surprised at how genuinely middle class (Well middle class-ish, this is Saaf Essix) the diners were. Seemed a decent pub. Cerainly looked worth a proper visit for a proper drink at a proper time of day.
