The Plough and Harrow, Bridge

Declaration of interest first: this is actually my local, but then it is for a reason. The P&H, even more so with it's recent renovation works is a lovely pub, both inside and out. Being a village pub it's obviously of its type and everyone knows each other, but that doesn't stop it being an extremely welcome place to all that pop in. As mentioned in other reviews there most certainly is an eclectic crowd and quirky humour to the place, and this starts with the landlord himself. This works extremely well if you want a place where you feel welcomed, and enjoy chatting to people - you'll be in conversation within minutes. For those that prefer a quiet pint there are areas away from the bar where you won't be disturbed. 9/10 as the pub could do with another beer or two, but this is hardly the fault of the pub itself - they are at the mercy of what is offered by SN

The White Horse Inn, Bridge

Now reopened again with excellent food by a very talented chef, although can be busy at weekends so booking may be required.
Wide selection of beers, from four lagers (Estrella, Becks, Budweiser and Stella), Thatchers and real ales mostly from Gadds and Dark Star with other guest ales (usually four real ales in total). Nice friendly environment in there with huge fireplace for the winter.
