The Blue Ball, Asheridge

This is a pub which me and my family have been going to for years as we love the food and it is reasonably priced.

Tonight me and my fiancé arrived with our 5 month old baby who was at the time fast asleep in his car seat. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by a very rude lady telling us we had to leave as they don't allow children under 10 years of age. I'd understand if our baby was old enough to run around and cause mischief or if the pub was a local 'boozer' but this is a pub/restaurant which I used to think welcomed families.

We will not be going back here as we were spoken to so rudely in front of the whole pub who by this time were all staring at us as we were told to leave. We have never been so embarrassed.

It is such a shame as the food is actually really lovely, they have let themselves down.
