A real mucky pub under constant threat from the developers. At least it's got character - much better than those plastic pubs all around it. Tucked away from the crowds. Good real ale to be had - long may it continue.

One Inn the Wood, Petts Wood

A quirky little bar selling very well kept local ales, can get a little busy early evening. Keeps to traditional opening hours so closes most afternoons 2.30pm before re-opening early doors. Not that comfortable if you are planning to stay there foe a long session. But certainly worth a visit, I am happy to support this local business.

The Sovereign of the Seas, Petts Wood

A good range of well kept beers as you would expect from a 'Spoons. It's a bit shabby inside but their is a good mix of clientel. The manager needs to learn some customer service skills because his manner can be a bit offish. But to be fair he keeps a good cellar.
