The Roebuck, Leek

Vast range of real ales and ciders, most from Titanic Brewery. Very mice touch to have a small jar of each on the bar so punters can see the colour.

Food is ok, but goo for the price.

The Triple Crown Inn, Richmond

A great off-the-beaten-track pub with a fine range of real ales (Sign of Spring is a fave - tastes great and it's green!).

Things I love about it:

Excellent slim drinking tables,
Harvey the landlord - witty and friendly and very happy to talk ales and drinking in general.
Great service from all staff - Went in for the first time to attend a quiz and spoke to the barmaid, went in a couple of weeks later and she remembered my name! Now that's service.

Can get busy if London Scottish or Richmond are playing at home, but this also adds to the atmophere.

All in all a great pub.
