Its a reasonable place, definately a local and the Stella is cheaper than the rugby club. Can get smoky but the staff and customers are friendly.

The Nightingale, Wanstead
This is not a favourite of mine. Crowded, due to its narrow design, very smokey and 'no dogs'. However staff are friendly as are the customers. As most of Wansteads other pubs have turned into disco pubs I would drink here if the 'Duke' wasn't so close by.
