Anne Of Cleves, Melton Mowbray

Four of us visited this pub on the recommendation of a pal, looking forward to a good meal and a swift pint on our flying visit to Melton.

Whilst booking our table, a member of staff - the chef or landlord - recognised our Liverpool accents and made a comment about having to count the cutlery. What a shame. We finished off our pints and left, taking our �100 with us. We went on to have a thoroughly enjoyable night out at another pub in Melton, where the staff weren't quite so prejudiced.
