I'm a Swedish guy visiting London from time to time. Last time I stayed att FairWay/Central Hotel very close to King's Cross St Pancras station. Very close to the hotel I found one of the nicest pubs I've ever visited and via them I learned about this site. It's lovely to be able to look out for pubs close to the place one is staying and get to read some comments and watch ratings from ordinary pub goers.

McGlynns, Kings Cross
It's a very welcoming pub for a stray visitor.
We seven Swedes felt at home right after walking through the doors and when we got our food the feeling of homeliness grew even stronger.
The only thing really differing it from home is the variety of drinks. I for instance just have 3-4 sorts of beer at home. That and the fact that I didn't have to to any washing up after dinner.
