The Mitre, Richmond
Great little pub!
Popped in after a long walk in Richmond park. Really friendly, lovely landlord, excellent beer - the Special was top notch, they evidently take great care of the pipes.
When Richmond is drowning in soulless, over-priced gastropubs, it's a rare thing to find a proper pub - the Mitre is just that: a proper pub, where you can have a great pint and chew the fat.
Hard to find but a great place to have a pint.
