The Sugar Loaf Inn, Little Chalfont

Art Deco design of the '30s, reburbished in the current minimalist style. Not for you if you want beams, chintz and patterned red carpets. They have first class chefs and the quality of their food is first class in the gastro pub league.
The dining room can be hired for functions - I held a family/friends lunch there for 25 people and the food, wine and service from planning to table was first class.
Highly recommended.
Note they have a car park at the back which is not immediately obvious - if you can find the secret route to it!
