Robertson's 37 Bar, Edinburgh

I visited this small bar on the well known Rose Street, in Edinburgh city centre, on a cold January afternoon. All the beers on offer are keg with no cask beers at all. I had a pint of Bellhaven Bitter which was ok as far as keg beers go. Food is available from a limited menu, with things like soup & various toasties on offer.
There are three TVs all showing sports channels.

The Rose and Crown, Edinburgh

I visited this pub during a quiet Monday afternoon in late January. There are three handpumps but only two were in use. The Deuchars IPA was not available. There were two cask bitters from the Skye Brewery available, I had a taste of the blonde bitter Tiny Angels but it was not to my taste. I had a pint of Red Cuillin @ £3.90, a nice pint but not cheap. The pub was so quiet that there was no atmosphere but it's probably busier in the evening.

Mitre, Edinburgh

This is a lovely old pub full of character. Nice pint of Deuchars IPA. I think there were two other cask beers on sale but I can't remember their names. They also sell food, not cheap but a reasonably varied menu. I didn't try the food on my recent visit. I would definitely visit this pub again if I was in Edinburgh.
