The Beluga Cafe, Canary Wharf

I visited Beluga Cafe, Port East Warehouse, West India Key, Canary Wharf, London, E14 4AE, with my wife and three small children. We selected a table outside at 17.45, furthest from the bar, so as not to disturb other patrons. While we were ordering our food and drinks our 18 month old baby, who had just woken up from an afternoon snooze, started crying. At that point a Mr Ati, who said that he was the manager on duty, approached us and informed us that if our baby didn't stop crying then we would have to leave.
We got up and calmly left the restaurant, making no comment to Mr Ati, but acknowleding the extremely embarrassed apologies of our pleasant waiter. I have never experienced this kind of prejudice despite having visited a large number of establishments in this country and many countries abroad with my children. Given the time of our visit, and the fact that we had consciously selected the table furthest away from other customers, this makes the attitude of Mr Ati even more disgusting.
I would strongly urge people with young children not to visit this clearly non family friendly establishment, and would suggest that anyone who finds this kind of prejucial treatment towards any group in society to shun this estblishment.
