Buck Inn, Buckden

A lovely little pub. The staff really put the effort in with wonderful general chat, and helpful information (the gentlman serving the food even put a bow-tie on specially).

At the time of writig they are unable to offer anything other than bottled beerss, owing to problems with the cellar. Even so, they still manage to offer a range of good real ales.

Ample parking space available, and surrounded by breathtaking mountains.

A little bit over-crowded for my liking - it was difficult to find a seat and a bit too noisey, but good beer and a friendly feel pretty much compensate for it.

The Hobbit, Southampton

I will gladly argue that is one of the bast pubs ever concieved. A WIDE selection of real ales; an enormouse beer garden, in wich chips etc are served, permanent late opening etc etc. Simply fantastic!
