The Swan, South Acton

Food is generally very good, as is the beer and the excellent wine list.

Service can be a bit hit and miss at times and the staff can get rather aggressive at 'chucking-out' time!

All in all though, a good pub to have as your local (well its my local anyway).

By the way, the Swan can either be considered to be in the 'Acton Green' area (from the local park) or in 'Chiswick' (from the local post code), but definitely not in 'South Acton'!

Martyr's Inn, Tolpuddle

Friendly country pub with very good restaurant (the deluxe seafood platter is enough to satisfy anyone!), well-kept Ales (Badger Brewery) and a reasonable wine list.
