The Welington Arms, Marlborough

Better alternative to the Sun across the road, didn't eat but Ramsbury was good and staff offered friendly service.
Pub isn't too big but with a small fire was cosy enough, would be happy to visit again.

The Sun Inn, Marlborough

New Owners.
Went there a few Satudays ago to discover that it has new owners/management. Unfortunately with this change the average age has dropped to about 22 and chav level has quadrupled = the men were wearing more jewellery than the women.
A real shame.

The Royal Oak, Wootton Rivers

Largest menu I have ever seen in a pub, a bit dated inside but probably down to its location. I think I had the same member of staff as below - couldn't raise one smile.
Food was good and a nice quiet location, dog & child friendly.
Would go again but ensure I got another barmaid/man!
