The Ship and Whale, Rotherhithe

I have to walk past 5 other pubs to get here, and do so reasonably frequently.

I think that the place peaked a year or so ago, when the food and service were a lot better, but for my money it's still a good pub, with excellent food, and good beer. The staff are reasonably attentive and the table service is a nice touch. Needs a bit more attention, but happy to call this my local.
